CASA TRES AGUAS

Casa Tres Aguas; a place in the Yucatan Peninsula to find peace and connect with nature. Photoshoot and aerial images of an architectural project with personality and essence.

On the beach of Celestun, immersed in a natural bird reserve is Casa Tres Aguas, a place where the quietness of the Caribbean Sea can be enjoyed, and life in balance with nature is encouraged. A project that emerges from talent and curiosity, designed with philosophy and purpose.

For a long time; I have been attracted to people and ideas related to the design of spaces, buildings and structures. They inspire me to reflect on the impact of these concepts in our lives, and the experiences that can be created around them. Casa Tres Aguas was a project that offered me the opportunity to capture a genuine portrait of my experience as a guest in a very unique house, and my first solo set of drone flights.

Conceived by architects Andreas Croitoru and Jean Sebastien, two talented and inspired friends who decided to find the perfect spot to create a place of unique personality; designed to provide peace, joy, and the ideal context to connect with nature.

Andreas and I became friends when he, Alicia (his lifelong beloved partner) and I, lived together in Querétaro. We always wanted to do creative things together and have fun while doing it, but our roads went apart for a long time and never had the chance to accomplish that goal, so when Andreas and Alicia invited me to capture the essence of Casa Tres Aguas, I felt honored to be able to participate through my photography in this very special chapter in the life of my friends.

Recently Casa Tres Aguas was a finalist at the Architizer A+Awards 2022 in the category of private homes under 1,000 square feet. I was very excited to hear about this nomination, since I know what this means to my friends.
