La Sabina

I love cheese and tasty foods, life is good and delicious when you share them with the people you care for. This is where La Sabina comes in, a great shop for all those who enjoy natural flavors and fresh food. Located, not it the heart but in the stomach of downtown San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato; this foodie paradise is a must if you are in town.

The history of La Sabina goes back to the time when my friend Pedro Muñoz used to sell cheese door to door, carrying his cooler filled with goat, cow and sheep cheese around the city. Now, almost 20 years after that, he and his fiance are running a growing business that offers a whole  variety of organic and handmade food products. I have to say that, beyond all the amazing flavours you can discover at their place, it is really their energy what makes the difference.

During the shooting I was both amazed and amused; amazed because I could see my friend and his team giving their best to every person, and amused because Pedro is just the craziest and funniest man on earth.
